SRIJAN GREEN EARTH EVS Class XI

In 2003, the Supreme Court directed the NCERT to prepare a syllabus for environment education for different grades. This syllabus is being implemented by the CBSE, ICSE and other state boards. The aim of Green Earth is to make the young aware of their environment - its beauty, its use,the problems associated with it and how to overcome them in an experiential way. The series includes action-oriented projects that have their base in our daily experiences, our observations and how we can preserve our environment. There are interesting and innovative activities and questionnaires to make the child conscious of his environment. The student’s interest is kept alive with DO YOU KNOW boxes. The colour photographs are a visual treat.
